Screen Printed Artist book exploring the image of Static. The images are screenshots taken from home movies, that are then digitally compiled. The word static usually means fixed, unchanging, or can even reference a stagnation in ones life, which served as the inspiration of this book. Electromagnetic noise, which causes the characteristic display patterns of static, however, is frenzied with energy, color and complexity. The random pattern superimposed on the picture, visible as a random flicker of "dots" or "snow", or bars of color, is contained within the frame in which you see it, as if it is being held, and waiting to escape.
